Goldblum to coach Broadway 'Seminar'

GoldblumJeff Goldblum will need inside the lead role in Broadway play "Seminar" in April, when current topliner Alan Rickman exits the expansion. Goldblum, last round the Rialto in "The Pillowman" in 2005, has skedded an eight-week run inside the show, which opened up up in November to generally strong reviews and solid, otherwise stellar, box office. It isn't apparent who, if any, of Rickman's four current co-stars -- Lily Rabe, Hamish Linklater, Jerry O'Connell and Hettienne Park -- will stay on while using production when Rickman leaves. Follow Theresa Rebeck ("Smash") concentrates on a cocky literary giant teaching an individual class to ambitious youthful authors. Production, a worldwide preem that opened up up cold round the Primary Stem, is produced by Jeffrey Finn, Jill Furman, John N. Hart Junior., Patrick Milling Cruz, Roy Furman, David Ian, David Mirvish, Amy Nauiokas and James Spry.
